[ It's not often that Shiro gets someone he's not already close with poking him on the amulets out of the blue, and it's with caution that he accepts the "call." But Obi-wan has nothing to do with Kevin, so that caution soon gives way to relief, but for the most part, the feeling that comes through the connection is tiredness, the kind of bone-deep exhaustion that comes from a freshly-broken fever.

Despite that, Shiro's actual tone is almost chipper. He is so very ready to have a conversation that doesn't involve getting Concerned at. ]

It's about Port Feiran. Since you seem to be particularly interested in the project, I was wondering how you would feel about possibly leading the effort?

I'm just one man you see, and with Edward gone, I can only spread myself so far.

[ Oh, hallelujah, he's got a Project for him, and a Project is exactly what Shiro needs right now. ]

I'd be honored to. I've been sick recently, but give me a few more days and I can come look at any plans he left behind.

[ If it were up to him, he'd probably get started right away, but he has too many concerned hoverers in this house to manage an escape. His life is so hard right now. ]

Nobody's stepped up to fill Edward's shoes yet, though?

Not as of yet. Representatives tend to come and go. I'm certain someone will in due time.

[Obi-Wan does not seem particularly worried about it. After all, some Arehtei went without representatives before and eventually people did step in to help. Though the help of another rep would be nice.]
